Art Deco or Great Gatsby Black and White Fondant Cake
This black and white square two tiered cake for Diana L. birthday celebration has art deco/great gatsby theme. Bottom tier is black fondant covered single layer 10 inch square white almond cake.
Top tier has paisley textured white panels made out of half fondant and half gumpaste. Top tier has 3 seven inch square cake layers of chocolate cake and white almond cake. Brooch, jeweled bottom tier border, pearl-dusted white leaves, and top tier silver bracelet borders and trim are all edible gumpaste. Pearl, black, and silver dragees are store bought.
