The cigars are handmade out of chocolate pastillage(chocolate chips and corn syrup), the red bow and white "packing strips" are made out of edible gumpaste, the cake sides are wrapped with chocolate fondant.

Helena Stolka order this cake was to celebrate her parents decisio to leave communist Czechosloviakia 40 years ago. The family of four immigrated to US forty years ago. Some Czechoslovakia items to note on the cake are the Astronomical Clock in Prague which is the building where her parents were married, Old Town Square in Prague, Charles Bridge in Prague, Soviet tank, barbed wire, Czech painted Easter eggs, traditional Czech costume or dress. All decorations edible and made out of gumpaste.
